Sweden Arbaeen procession revives devotion for Imam Hussein (AS)

MALMO, Sweden: Marking Arbaeen Al-Husseini or the
fortieth day after the martyrdom of Al-Imam Abi Abdellah Al-Hussein
(AS), Iraqis, Lebanese, Afghans, Pakistanis and other nationals
residing in Sweden organized a mourning procession in Malmo.
 
 
Earlier a majlis al-azaiyah was held. Sayyed Haydar Al-Battat opened
the majlis with recitation of holy Quran followed by Sayyed Abo-Redha
and Alhaj Abo-Zahraa Al-Hamzavi who recited elegies.
The participants of the procession while beating their chests in pain
over the sufferings of Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and his Ahl-ol Beit
(AS) extended their condolence to the Last Imam Al-Mehdi (AS).
