Azeris pay homage to Karbala martyrs on Arba’in

BAKU, Azerbaijan: Commemorating the sad occasion of
Arba’in on Tuesday 20 Safar, main mourning gathering was held at
Khayaban Sahidlar (Martyrs Shrine) in Baku.
 
Azadaran by performing noha-khoani and seena-zany
(reciting elegies and beating chests) paid rich homage to martyrs of
Karbala whose blood irrigated the dying tree of Islam some 1,400 years
ago in the burning desert of Karbala.
