AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Matam ol Azaa, or a mourning
gathering, to mark the Tragedy of Samarra that occurred on 22
February, was held in Al-Qatif on Thursday night.


Large number of scholarly figures, dignitaries, notables, thinkers and
intellectuals from Tarout, Al-Qatif and Ad-Dammam including judge of
Al-Jafariyah Court for Endowment in Al-Qatif Sheikh Ghalebbin Hasan
Aal-i-Hammad participated in the majles that was organized at
husseiniyyah As-Senan.


Engineer Sayyed Lo’iyee Al-Awami opened the majles with recitation of
Quranic verses followed by Said Ali Al-Ma’atik and Sheikh Abdelkarim
Al-Habeyl who recited dirges and delivered sppech respectively to
condemn the tragedy.
Others who recited and addressed included poet Ma’tok Al-Ma’tok,
Sheikh Jafar Aal-i-Ribh and Sheikh Abdur-Rasul Al-Basarh.
