RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan
programmes organised throughout the country in connection with the
martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Sakina bint-ul Hussain (A.S.)
announced by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah
Moosavi came to an end on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboots (replica
coffins) were taken out in ladies Majalis in all small and big cities
of the country. Ulema, waizeen and zakireen strongly condemned
publication of blasphemous caricatures and destruction of holy
mausoleums in Samarra and reiterated their resolve to continue
pursadari of Mazloom-e-Karbala (A.S.) with mutual understanding and
brotherhood till 8th Rabiul Awwal by following TNFJ’s Code of Azadari
in letter and spirit.


On the last day of the Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan
various religious organisations staged a protest demonstration against
the publication of blasphemous caricatures and the Samarra tragedy.
The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards
inscribed with protest slogans.
Hojjatul Islam Syed Hussain Kazmi, Allama Basharat Imami, and Allama
Sadiqi addressing the demonstrators said whether it is publication of
blasphemous caricatures or terrorism in Samarra and Karbala, it all
has been done by the enemies of Islam. They said whole energy is being
utilised to give an impression that there is a sectarian and Maktabi
war in Iraq where there is no such situation throughout the world
including Iraq. They paid tributes to the exemplary display of
Sunni-Shia unity that proved that they are united and no power on
earth could create any rift amongst them.


They demanded summoning of emergent OIC meeting to lay
down a joint strategy in connection with the publication of
blasphemous caricatures and Samarra tragedy.
Zakirah Nigar Raza addressed the last Majlis of
Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan organised by Anjuman Dukhtran-e-Islam at
Jamia-tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad following which Taboot (replica
coffin) of Hazrat Sakina (S.A.) was taken out and Matamdari held.

A Matmi procession was taken out under the auspices of
TNFJ Local Council Gharibabad in Rawalpindi in which Matmi Dasta
Jhalarian Muazzam Qalander, Matmi Dasta Shabab Ali Akbar, and Matmi
Dasta Sakhi Shah Chan Chiragh performed Matamdari and Noha-Khwani.
Majlis-e-Aza was held after the procession. Maulana Malik Ijlal Haider
Al-Haideri, Ch. Mushtaq Hussain, Zakir Matloob Hussain Kazmi, Zakir
Syed Zaki Al-Hasnain, Zakir Ghulam Farid Jafar, Zakir Shaukat Hayat
Nayyar, Zakir Ayub Malang, and Maulana Javed Hussain Haideri paid
tributes to Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi on announcing
observation of Ashra-e-Shaheeda-e-Zindaan and announced commitment to
support any call given by him for promotion of Hussainiyyat.
A resolution adopted on the occasion blamed international colonial
powers for continued terrorism all over the world and called upon all
international organisations including the United States to play their
role in getting the oppression going on in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir
and Palestine stopped and to ensure honour and dignity of the holy
places.
A Majlis-e-Aza was held at Imambargah Zain-ul Abideen under the
auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan. Zakira Nagin Zaidi addressing the
Majlis said that the Imam Aali Muqam (A.S.) had saved Islam by giving
his head while Hazrat Sakina (S.A.) along with Syed-e-Sajjad (A.S.),
Hazrat Zainab (S.A.) and Hazrat Kulsoom (S.A.) disseminated the
message of Hussain (A.S.) to the world owing to which flag of Islam is
fluttering all over the world today.
She said Aseeran-e-Karbala (S.A.) delivered heart-rending addresses in
Kufa and Shaam that shattered the Yazidi courts. The patience and
firmness shown by Yateeman-e-Karbala in Zindaan-e-Shaam is the best
example for the oppressed and the have-nots to follow for the rest of
their life. Taboot of Shaheeda-e-Zindaan (S.A.) was taken out after
the Majlis after which Matamdari was also held.
Syed Faizan Kazmi addressed a Majlis-e-Aza held under the auspices of
Hay’at Tulaba-e-Islamia and termed the attachment with Aal-e-Muhammad
(A.S.) as the best source of success here and the Hereafter. Ali Zeb
Kazmi, Syed Imran Kazmi, Syed Manzar Kazmi and others addressed the
Majlis that followed Matamdari.
