Mourning protest in Australia slams Samarra aggression

SHEPPARTON, Australia: Arabs and Muslims residing in
Shepparton and its surrounding took to the streets in a mourning
protest to denounce destruction of holy shrine of Al-Imamain Ali Al-Hadi
(a.s.) and Hasan Al-Askary (a.s.), grandsons of holy Prophet Muhammad
(s.w.), in the holy city of Samarra.
Shepparton is a country town located in Victoria, Australia. It is a
two-hour drive from Melbourne.
The demonstrators were chanting anti-terrorism and pro-peace slogans.
Besides a number of other speakers, representative of Austrian Foreign
Minister addressed the mourning protesters and condemned the cowardice
crime.
The rally appreciated the role of Holy Najaf Marja’iyah in the ongoing
sensitive situation.
