RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded from the government to make special arrangements and further improve the law and order situation throughout the country on the occasion of Ashra-e-Aseeran-e-Karbala from 11 to 20 Safar-ul-Muzaffar marking the Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his 72 near and dear ones.

He stated this while delivering his Presidential address at the opening session of 2-day high level meeting of the TNFJ. Heads of different central sections of TNFJ, and Central and Provincial office-bearers of TNFJ Muharram Committee Azadari Cell participated in the meeting in which arrangements of Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada were reviewed.

Agha Moosavi expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements made by the government during Muharramul Haram thanked the government for setting up Control Rooms at the Centre and provinces on the demand of TNFJ and said Azadari programmes would continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal. He said the sanctity of Arbaeen-e-Hussaini is not less than Ashoora, therefore, the government should issue special directive to the Control Rooms already set up at the Centre and the provinces so as to facilitate Azadaran in performing their religious rites with honour and respect.

He said our objective is ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ that is source of forgiveness and Azadari is the best worship on which no bargaining would be done nor any one would be allowed to do so.

He made it clear that the Samarra tragedy that took place in Muharram is not a simple incident rather it indicates that international colonial powers are afraid of Hussainiyyat and by using the condemnable tactics of terrorism and murder desire to give an impression that there is Maktabi and Maslaki conflicts amongst Muslim States while it is none in actual.

The TNFJ chief paid rich tributes to Maraje Uzzam and Sunni-Shia people of Iraq who despite bearing heavy shock and loss were thwarting the colonial conspiracies through displaying mutual brotherhood and understanding. He said satanic powers do not want to see Islam prosper, therefore, they were utilising all their energy to cause harm to Muslims right from the beginning and for that purpose were misusing the power-hungry rulers who were wearing the outfit of Islam, as their tools.

He stressed that Samarra tragedy is preamble of stepping towards Masjid-e-Nabawi and Bait-Ullah, therefore Muslim countries would have to work sensibly.

He said we had said at the time of New York incident that evil could not be rooted out through evil but through good. The whole Muslim World had condemned the New York incident but the satanic forces considered it as a weakness of Muslims while Pakistan had played the role of a frontline ally in war against terror. He said it is an established fact that Kufr is a Millat while Islam is a separate Millat and it is crystal clear from the day one that our perpetual enemy exists that had broken our one arm and one super power that supported it has finished while the other super power was considering Pakistan a threat for herself owing because of her achieving the nuclear capability. That power, he said, had first destructed Afghanistan, then shattered Iraq and now Syria and Iran are the next target. First she declared Iran axis of evil, then threatened her against getting nuclear capability while Zionists and Hindus are being supported just to snub two international issues i.e. Palestine and Kashmir.

Agha Moosavi expressing shock over Afghan accusations against Pakistan said that Afghanistan was speaking someone else’s language. Achieving nuclear capability is the right of Iran but the question arises what the Muslim Ummah is doing. He said India has not signed NPT and despite that her nuclear defence agreement with America is tantamount to recognising her as a nuclear power. Therefore, he said, Pakistan should sign a defence pact with her long-lived friend China cementing her ties with them further.

He said had the representative organisation of the Islamic World i.e. OIC played an active role and had it achieved a permanent seat in the Security Council and right of veto then the Muslim Ummah would not have faced the hardships it is facing today. He said the Muslim States should not ponder over on saving their face only but should devise a strong and combined strategy by summoning OIC summit so as to strengthen the defence of the Islamic World. The colonial powers desire to pitch Muslim States into sect and reap the benefit from our internal strife.

The TNFJ chief said like President Pervez Musharraf had defended motherland Pakistan from colonial attack, similarly he should adopt the policy of mutual understanding with opposition, tribes and chieftains so as to check the international strife created by our combined enemy. No one in Pakistan is a traitor rather everyone had rendered sacrifices for this country and had defended it. He said we would have to give up the policy of “those in power are sincere, and those who are out are traitors” keeping in view the norms of solidarity and survival of the motherland, because a big public power is there outside the Parliament.

He said many unseen powers are active against the country; therefore, the government should exercise seriousness, patience, and firmness and should keep the interest of the nation and the country supreme over all other matters.

He made it clear that all holy places and shrines are Sha’a’ir-Ullah without any discrimination that is related with the whole humanity. Therefore, he added, attack on the same is considered attack on the whole humanity, religion and Shariat.

He said there is need to devise an international law as a permanent solution to condemnable incidents like publication of blasphemous images by European newspapers under which desecration of all Prophets and Mashaheer should be declared a cognizable offence because a person who commits blasphemy could not be a “human being”.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi declaring the release of those arrested in Northern Areas as a good step has demanded from the government to also release those who were arrested for staging protest against blasphemy because, he added, arrests and bombing are no solution to any problem but the mutual understanding is which should be considered an important responsibility.

He said active steps should be taken forthwith to solve the problems of recognised schools of thought living in Muslim States. Pakistan is not a Maktabi or sectarian State but an ideological State the constitutional religion of which is Islam.

He called upon the government to take care of the rights of all schools of thought on the basis of equality and give ideological representation to Maktab-e-Tashayyo in all State departments.

He said our mourning against desecration of Holy Prophet (SAW), Aal-e-Rasool (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and holy shrines will continue till 8th Rabiul Awwal i.e. the Shahdat of Imam Hassan Askari (A.S.) while our peaceful universal protest - Azadari - against oppression and brutality would continue till the Zahoor of Imam Mahdi (A.S.). He called upon all Azadaran to perform their Azadari rites by following the TNFJ Code of Azadari in letter and spirit.
