Al-Jafaria inaugurates: Marjaiyah sends unity message to Turkish Shiias

ISTANBUL, Turkey: A ceremony to inaugurate Al-Jafaria
Association in Istanbul, one of biggest cities of Turkey, drew large
number of religious and governmental dignitaries from inside and
outside the country besides a gathering of some 10,000 people.
A representative delegation of Sayyed Abdul-Aziz Al-Hakim, chief of
Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq who also heads United
Iraqi Alliance, made special participation in the program. The
delegation, comprised of Sayyed Hussein Al-Hakim, Sayyed Salih Al-Hakim
and Al-Ostaz Abdullah Totonji, got a warm welcome with chants of
“Labbayk Ya Hussein”.
Turkish Shiia leader Sheikh Salahoddin Ozkondoz was also present on
the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Hojjatol Islam Val Muslimin Sayyed Hussein
Al-Hakim conveyed greetings of Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim marking the
occasion and also that of Marjaiyah Al-Olyaa to the Turkish people in
general and the participants in particular.
He also conveyed advices from Ayatullah Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini As-Sistani
to Shiias in Turkey that included his call to unity and spreading
thought of Ahl-ol Beit (p).
