RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded from the government to satisfy the followers of Maktab Jaffar ibne Muhammad (A.S.) by implementing the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement.

Talking to the representative delegation of elite from Bangash area here on Sunday, he said only Pakistan enjoys this singular honour throughout the world that it was created in the name of Islam for which Islam was declared as its official religion. Under the article 3 of the Constitution, government stands guarantee for all type of exploitation.

He lamented that a dictator staged coup de etat in 1977 instead of fulfilling the norms of constitution, justice and fair-play tearing apart the country’s Constitution and began his fatal struggle to turn Pakistan into a sectarian State.

Agha Moosavi said that we were the first to raise voice against this negation of Basic Ideology, ideology of Allama Iqbal and the principles of the Quaid-i-Azam openly. Therefore, he said, the Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya took over the Islamabad Secretariat and forced the tyrant ruler to bow down. The same tyrant ruler came out again with an announcement to limit the Milad-un-Nabi and Azadari processions to the places of worship. On this, we began an agitation from the forum of Hussaini Mahaz (Front) and started courting arrests against oppression, and for the protection of Azadari and rights of the Maktab-e-Tashayyo.

This agitation lasted for 8 months during which 14,000 Sunni-Shia Muslims courted arrest while Ashraf Ali Rizvi and Safdar Ali Naqvi presented the sacrifice of their life. As a result May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement was signed comprising 11 demands that included separate Deenyat curricula and separate Auqaf.

He said the biggest success of ours is that we did not let them turn Pakistan into a sectarian State and will not let them do so in future also. By the Grace of God, Pakistan is Islamic Republic of Pakistan today. Today motherland Pakistan is confronted with terrorism that is a gift from that tyrant ruler but we have proved through our deeds that no power on earth could create differences amongst Sunnis and Shias and one who would try to do so is neither a Sunni nor a Shia but is the joint enemy of them both.

The TNFJ chief expressed satisfaction that President Pervez Musharraf taking a good decision not only enforced Anti-Terrorism Act but also unveiled the terrorists and banned them also. It is however a different story that the same banned groups were roaming around with new names and have joined different alliances. There is a possibility that they are the requirement of some politicians and rulers?

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said we still stick to our point of view that there is no sectarian conflict in Pakistan and a terrorist keeps no religion, Maktab or a country, he is only a terrorist and should be tackled with in that context only. However there is need to make difference between terrorism and jihad, he added.

He said we respect all organisations struggling for freedom and independence the biggest proof of that is that not only we but Pakistan has also accepted the ban imposed by America on a jihadi organization. The Article 14 of the Constitution clearly states that in the educational institutions no one will be forced to undergo any such education and worship that is not in accordance with his belief. Therefore, making arrangement for religious education for their students is the basic right of every religious group. Similarly no Waqf could be used against the will of its Waqif, therefore, the government should give practical shape to separate Shia Auqaf under the agreement, he added.

He made it clear that biggest problem confronted by the world of humanity is crisis of terrorism the basic reason of which is lack of justice and fair-play. He said the objective of creation of the Islamic State is restoration of justice and fair-play.

Meanwhile, the delegation members resolved to support any call of the Quaid-i-Millat-i-ariya Agha Hamid Moosavi for realisation of religious rights and promotion of mission of Hussainiyyat.
