RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said standard of human supremacy is knowledge and awareness courtesy which he has been declared Masjood-e-Malaika (the one to whom angels prostrated).

He stated this while talking to the office-bearers of Mukhtar Students Organisation who called on him at the head of Central President Syed Baqir Hussain Naqvi. He said Islam considers seeking of knowledge a must and there is no binding of gender in it rather it has been said that seek knowledge whether you would have to go to China. Knowledge has been declared as a lost treasure of the Momin (believer).

There is a saying of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) that goes: Knowledge and wisdom are the lost things of Momin which if remain even with Mushrik (polytheist); Take it as you deserve it more and it is yours.

It has to be seen now that which knowledge is that achievement of which has been declared an obligation and for which so much instruction has been given.

Agha Moosavi said achievement of that knowledge is an obligation that is in line with the norms of religion and Shariat and is helpful in achieving the individual and collective targets of the human being. On this basis, he said, Quran has declared knowledge an enlightenment and ignorance as darkness. He made it clear that history, geography, biology, physics, mathematics, economics and social sciences are there as a result of Quranic studies and the Ayah 159 of Surah Baqarah stands witness to it.

He said if the laws and systems defined in Quran are understood then it could become a source of approach to Allah. It has become crystal clear that knowledge does not mean mere religious knowledge in the eyes of religion and Shariat, although every group keeps its own belief and ideology supreme. Imam Ghazali writes more than 18 sayings in this connection in which a detailed description of sciences has been given.

He said had from this knowledge it meant any particular knowledge then the Holy Prophet (SAW) may have defined it. Actually from knowledge means every knowledge that is useful therefore we would have to lit the candle of knowledge and use its spread as a weapon if we are sincere in getting rid of oppression and suppression today. Otherwise, he added, satanic forces would finish us. Knowledge is our inheritance and every honourable person defends his inheritance.

The TNFJ chief said the international colonial powers have declared us violent and terrorists and Islam as a religion of punishments owing to giving up the path of knowledge and adopting ignorance instead, as a result of which all Muslims are undergoing the consequences. Afghanistan and Iraq have been destructed where more than two lakh people were killed besides destructing the economy there, holy places were desecrated and even Najaf-e-Ashraf, Karbala, Kazmain, Baghdad and Samarra were not spared and now planning is on to destruct Iran for which a campaign is going on through exerting pressure on Iran. Colonial powers are bent upon destructing Iran’s atomic plant while international organisations were keeping a quiet.

He said in these circumstances the oppressed and Muslim nations should set a strategy because Iran has not yet committed any violation of the NPT. Not only Iran but every country of the world has a right to achieve atomic energy for peaceful purposes and for its defence.

The TNFJ Chief Agha Hamid Moosavi said the colonial powers should learn a lesson from Afghanistan and Iraq. God forbid, if war breaks out then its effects would hover over the whole region shattering its peace. He said our advice that America and her allies should keep the norms of justice in mind, exercise wisdom, avoid any type of aggression, and pullout their troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. The United Nations, oppressed nations and Muslim heads of State should keep in mind that what they were reaping now was sowed by them. Therefore, they should play their role in getting the humanity rid of fear and harassment and turning the world into a hub of peace, he concluded.
