Syria: Imam Askari (p) b-day fête calls for Islamic heritage safety

SAYEDAH ZEINAB, Syria: In connection with the
anniversary of birth of Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Askary (p), 11th
infallible inheritor of Chief of Prophets Prophet Muhammad (p) and
father of the Last Imam Al-Mehdi (p), renowned husseini speaker Sheikh
Kamal Ma’ash urged the need to protect Islamic heritage from
destruction.
He was addressing a celebration at Hozah Ilmiyah Zeinabiyah.
Quoting a saying of Ahlol Beit (p) that “Our devotees, no doubt, are
happy in our happiness and grieve for our grief”, Sheikh Ma’ash said
we are celebrating the birth anniversary of Al-Imam Al-Askari (p) but
hearts of Muslims are filled with pain for the deadly aggression
committed against his holy shrine in Samarra on February 22 this year.
