25 Shawal mourning programs arrangements finalized in Bahrain

AL-MANAMA, Bahrain: In connection with the anniversary of
martyrdom of Al-Imam Ja’far bin Muhammad As-Sadeq (A),
arrangements to hold majales wa mawakeb al-azaiyah (mourning
sittings and processions) on Shawal 25 across Bahrain have
been finalized.
Al-Imam Ja’far As-Sadeq (A), sixth infallible successor of
holy Prophet Muhammad (S), was martyred on 15 Shawal – 10th
Islamic month - according to some traditions while some others
say it was Shawal 25.
Renowned Husseini speakers will address the majales at
husseiniyaat, mosques and ma’atam while prominent
dire-chanters will make special participation in the
processions.
