Hundreds of thousands partake Ayat Tabrizi funeral

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Al-Marje Al-Alaa Grand Ayatullah Haaj Sheikh Mirza Jawwad At-Tabrizi has been laid to rest in the holy shrine of Karimeh Ahlel Beit Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (AS) in the holy city of Qom on Wednesday.

Hundreds of thousands of weeping mourners from all walks of life participated in the funeral procession which began at 0900 AM from Al-Imam Al-Hasan Al-Askari (AS) Mosque and culminated at the holy shrine of Hazret-e- Masumeh (AS).

Grand Ayatullah Sheikh Vahid Khurasani led the funeral prayer while crying in deep grief.

Delegates from inside and outside Iran also attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Grand Ayatullah At-Tabrizi (late)’s will was read out.

He was buried at 1130 AM in the holy shrine of Karimeh Ahlel Beit Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (AS) besides the graves of Grand Ayatullah Sheikh Al-Araki and Grand Ayatullah Bahaoddini chanting Ya Hossein Ya Zahraa.

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Ayatullah Sheikh Mirza Jawwad At-Tabrezi has called on believers to observe the martyrdom anniversary of head of Mazhab Jafar ibne Muhammad Al-Imam As-Sadiq (a.s.) like observance of Ayyam-e-Ashura and Al-Ayyam Al-Fatimiyah to pay homage to the great imam from the progeny of holy Prophet Hazret-e-Muhammad (s.v.) who spent all his life to deliver us from every darkness.
