No Muslim minorities … “Wasaya Al-Imam Mehdi Shamsoddin”
By: Karim Tellawi
BEIRUT, Lebanon: Second publication of “Wasaya Al-Imam
Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Mehdi Shamsoddin” after its first
publication from Lebanon’s Dar-on Nehaar in 2002. Sheikh
Shamsoddin was one of grand Maraje in Lebanon and former chief
of Lebanon’s Supreme Shia Council. He was appointed a member
of Supreme Council for Research in Al-Azhar. He opposed
principle of velayah al-faqih.
Lebanon’s political author Ghassan Tawini stood for its second
publication and said about these ‘wasaya’ (advises) that these
are invitation to the unity of ommah.
The advises were recorded by Ash-Sheikh Muhammad Mehdi
Shamsoddin (late) by himself on cassettes before his death in
February 2001 after he remained ill for seven months. His son
Ibrahim transferred his voice on paper. His stance on Arab and
Islamic issues in general and on Lebanese matters in
particular and more than this Shias’ are part of this book.
He concluded his advises with warning of the word “minority”.
He said there are no Muslim minorities as well as Christian,
but there exist two big majorities: Arab which includes both
Muslims and on-Muslims; and Muslims which includes Arab and
non-Arab. Shiias exist in both these majorities. And
everything other than this is riot-creating plan.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
