PARIS, France: With great spirituality, holiness and
devotion, A’maal of the first of the three layali Al-Qadr, or
the Nights of Glory, (Ramazan 19, 21, 23) were held on 19
Ramazan night (night between 18 and 19 Ramazan) in all parts
of the world while big mourning programs in connection with
the anniversary of martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (as)
are being in continuation.






Flocks of believers streamed into the holy Shrines of Imam
Ali (as) in the holy city of Najaf (Iraq), Imam Hussain (as)
and Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (as) in the holy city of Karbala
(Iraq), Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (as) and Hazrat Imam Muhammad
Taqi (as) in Kazmain Sharifain (Iraq), Hazrat Imam Ali Naqi
(as) and Hazrat Imam Hasan Askari (as) in Samara (Iraq),
Hazrat Imam Ali Reza (as) in the holy city of Mash’had (Iran),
Hazrat Fatimah Masouma (as) in the holy city of Qom (Iran),
Hazrat Zainab (as) and Hazrat Sakina (as) in Damascus (Syria)
as well as mosques, hussainiyaat, imambargahs, aza-khanas,
maatam, tombs and Islamic centers to perform A’mal of the
Layla-tul-Qadr and attend majalis-e-aza.


A’maal are offering special prayers, reciting particular
adiyah and seeking forgiveness from Allah.
Majalis-e-aza were held after A’maal of the Night of Glory
attended by large numbers of followers of Ahlul bayt (as). In
some places, majalis-e-aza were held after dawn prayer.
Sahour banquets were served.






Speakers in their addresses highlighted the elevated status
of Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (as) in light of Quran and
traditions of holy Prophet (saww), and described the martyrdom
of Maula-e-Kaenaat (as). Mourners extended their condolences
to the holy family of prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (saw)
marking the occasion.
Mourning processions were also taken out.
