“Universal Ayyam-e-Aza” conclude marking Imam Ali (A) martyrdom-day

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The martyrdom anniversary of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) was observed throughout the country on Sunday like other global parts with religious spirit and reverence marking an end to “Universal Ayyam-e-Aza”.

Marking the occasion, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out from all big and small cities and towns of all the four provinces including Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas.

In Rawalpindi, main Taboot procession in connection with the Shahadat of Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) was taken out from Aza Khana Mubarik Bano, Mohanpura under the auspices of Syed Nayyar Hussain Zaidi. Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi participated in the procession, performed Ziarat of the Taburrakaat and took part in Matamdari. Senior office-bearers of the TNFJ, Ulama-e-Karaam, office-bearers and workers of District Ayyam-e-Aza Committee accompanied him.

Dozens of Matmi Dastas (corps) and thousands of mourners took part in Zanjir-Zani, Noha-Khwani and Matamdari to present the “Pursa” of Sher-e-Khuda (A.S.). The main Taboot procession terminated at Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain around Sehr after marching through Kashmiri Bazar, Fawwara Chowk, and Trunk Bazar. A heavy contingent of police along with Administration and police officials escorted the procession throughout.

A Taboot procession of Maula Ali (A.S.) was taken out from the residence of Syed Zahid Hussain Kazmi in Dhoke Syedan under the auspices of Matmi Tanzeem Shahzada Ali Akbar (A.S.) and terminated at Imambargah Qasr-e-Shabbir. Earlier, Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed the gathering before the procession was taken out.

Allama Farman Raza Abidi addressed ta majlis-e-shahadat at imambargah Col Maqbool Hussain, Allama Syed Hussain Moqaddesi at masjid-o-imambargah Ahle Bait Wah Cantt., and Allama Basharat Imami at masjid-o-imambargah QAsr-e-Khadijatul Kubra Tarlai Kalan.

Addressing a majlis-e-aza organized by Anjuman Dukhtaran-e-Islam at Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad, Mufakkera-e-Islam Khateeba-e-Aal-e-Nabi Syeda Binte Ali Moosavi said Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) has the singular honour of being the Maulood-e-Ka’aba and Shaheed-e-Mehraab in the same breadth. He was brought up under the shadow of the Holy Prophet (SAW) that is why Maula-e-Kainaat Ali Al-Murtaza (A.S.) is the treasure of knowledge, and the symbol of tolerance, bravery, generosity and eloquence. He played exemplary role in serving the religion of Islam and remained confronted with the enemies of religion and Shariat shattering the foundations of oppression, brutality and suppression till he kissed Shahadat.

He said the life-style of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is the fatal for oppression and brutality while his sayings could be made beacon of light to get rid of difficulties and to root out all types of fear, harassment, oppression and terrorism. Mohtarma Shehr-Bano, Mehrun Niesa and Mrs Bukhari also addressed the majlis while zakira Farhat Fatima recited marsia and Umdatul Huffaz Syeda Binte Moosa Moosavi achieved honour of reciting the holy Quran. Syeda Bintul Hussain Moosavi performed duty of stage-secretary.

Taboot procession was also taken out from Imambargah Yadgar-e-Hussain Satellite Town and terminated back at the Imambargah after marching through its designated route.

Allama Muhammad Ali Haleemi and Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi addressed the Subh-e-Shahadat Majlis of Wasi-e-Rasool (A.S.) at Ali Masjid Satellite Town. They said the Muslim Ummah was at present confronted with host of problems and difficulties as a result of acting contrary to the teachings of pious personalities and keeping subservient attitude against colonial powers and their agents. If the Muslim rulers make the “khaak” of Madinah and Najaf collyrium (surmaah) of their eyes and make his seerat and character a beacon of light then they could resolve even the most difficult situations and problems.

The annual Majalis-e-Aza were held at Imambargah Shakarial and Darbar Sakhi Shah Chan Chiragh to mark the Shahadat of Maula-e-Kainaat (A.S.).

According to information reaching the office of central Ayyam-e-Aza Committee of the TNFJ, Majalis-e-Aza were held and Taboot processions were taken out in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Dadu, Khairpur Miras, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Lahore, Gujrat, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Saeedabad, Bhakkar, Mehar, Hassan Abdal, Attock, Sibbi, Nowshera, Jacobabad, Jhelum, and other places.

Special prayers were offered for an end to the problems and difficulties faced by the Islamic World, integrity, solidarity and development of the motherland Pakistan during these programmes.

The Government had made special arrangements during majalis and processions.

‘Universal Ayyam-e-Aza’ start in Pak to mourn Imam Ali (AS)

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: “Universal Ayyam-e-Aza” in line with the announcement made by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi marking the Martyrdom Anniversary of Ameer-ul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (AS) from Ramazan 19-21 began throughout Pakistan like other global parts.
