RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Hojjatul Islam Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Imami presided over an important meeting of Universal Ayyam-ul-Huzn Committee of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan.

The meeting appointed conveners to organize programmes of “Universal Ayyam-ul-Huzn” to be observed from 2-6 October in connection with the demise anniversary of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Allama Imami in his address on the occasion said that Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) is that great personality whose pure belief and high character helped promote and stabilize Islam. Khadija’s (S.A.) wealth provided concrete foundation to Islam’s economy on the basis of which Shariat stood on its feet.

He said a woman who was badly exploited in society, her honour was trampled, she was sold out like goat, who was sent to grave soon after her birth, Islam blessed that woman with honour on which Quran and Sunnah stand witness. The honour and respect that Islam gave to woman is not found in any other religion of the world. Islam not only guarantees rights of woman and protects her rather placed heaven under her feet, he added. He said that Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) sacrificed all she had for the supremacy of humanity and success of the Shariat but did not allow any harm to be caused to Nabuwwat and Risalat. He said the women at large should make the seerat of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (S.A.) beacon of light for them to achieve their rights.

He lauded and thanked the government for issuing special instructions to the Administration throughout the country regarding the programmes during the month of Ramazan.

He said besides the government, the people should also remain alert during Ramazanul Mubarik and avoid any thing that may cause any harm to the religion and Shariat so as to increase the dignity of the nation, the country and the Islamic World by thwarting every conspiracy of the enemies of humanity.

Strongly condemning the Afghan President’s attitude viz. Pakistan, he said Karzai had been making a hole in his own plate. There is a saying of Amirul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) that goes: Protect yourself from the evil (shar) of the one you do good (naiki) for whom.

The meeting appointed conveners and secretaries within and without to organize Majalis, conferences, seminars and condolence meetings in connection with the Universal Ayyam-ul-Huzn.

They are: Allam Fakhar Abbas Abidi, Assad Abbas Haideri (Islamabad); Allama Abu Jafar Naqvi, Iftikhar Hussain Mashadi (Punjab); Allama Waqar Taqvi, Ammar Yassir (Sindh); Sardar Abu Ammad Jafri, Janu Lala (Balochistan); Mir Abu Ghazanfar, Saqlain Haider Jamil (Sarhad), Akhund Ghulam Muhammad, Sultan Ali Kazmi (Azad Kashmir & Northern Areas).

Conveners appointed for foreign countries are: Sarfraz Hussain, Tahiri Shah, Nasir Abbas, Rehmat Ali Shah, Munawwar Kazmi, Mujtaba Shah, Mukhtar Ali, Syed Zahid Hussain, Babar Suhail, Muhammad Arif Badri, and Khizr Naqvi.
