MBC slammed for showing Imam Ar-Redha (p) personality in play

DUBAI: Devotees of Aal Al-Beit (holy progeny of holy
Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny) have
strongly condemned MBC TV channel for showing the personality
of Al-Imam Ali bin Mousa Ar-Redha, peace be upon him – eighth
infallible descendant of holy Prophet, peace be upon him and
his pure progeny - in a play broadcasted from the TV, terming
it a flat violation of feelings of Muslims.
MBC TV is the largest Arab-American network.
The historical play titled “Sons of Ar-Rashid: Al-Amin and Al-Ma’moun”
was aired during the holy fasting month of Ramadan. In some of
its episodes, appearance of Al-Imam Ar-Redha, peace be upon
him, was shown.
