Eid thanks-giving of going through fasting duty with honour, Moosavi’s message
By: TNFJ Information Wing
Brethren in Islam!
It is authentic in the sight of nations and religions that
they do not forget the days having a historic, national,
religious and political background and observe the same in
line with their methodology and culture with happiness
according to their best capabilities.

Islam is the best religion liked by Allah and that had been the
religion of all from Hazrat Adam (A.S.) to the Paighambar-e-Khatim (SAAW)
despite changes made in Shariats from time to time in given situations
and Shariat-e-Muhammadi taking the charge as the last Shariat,
therefore, when the boat of Hazrat Noah (A.S.) touched the river bank,
it was the day of happiness for him; when Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) came
out from the ignited fire of Nimroud by the Grace of God, it was the
day of happiness not only for Ibrahim (A.S.) but also for his
followers; when Hazrat Musa (A.S.) crossed River Nile with honour and
dignity through his stick, it was the day of eid for him; the day when
‘Maeda’ (table) was sent on Hazrat Eisa’s (A.S.) nation, it was the
day of eid for him. Therefore, it is stated in Surah Maida:

(O, Allah! Send us Maeda (Dastar-Khwan) from the sky that is
declared eid for us).
Similarly, there are many memorable days in Shariat-e-Muhammadi,
Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the same.
In actual, it is the thanks-giving (Shukrana) of going through the
duty of fasting with honour and dignity, therefore, at the time of
sighting of the moon, first of all we should recite the Dua of Hazrat
Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) in which he says after sighting the moon:

“O obedient creature, speedy and untiring, frequenter of
the mansions of determination, moving about in the sphere of
governance!
I have faith in Him who lights up darknesses through thee,
illuminates jet-black shadows by thee, appointed thee one of
the signs of His kingdom and one of the marks of His
authority, and humbled thee through increase and decrease,
rising and setting, illumination and eclipse. In all of this
thou art obedient to Him, prompt toward His will.
Glory be to Him! How wonderful is what He has arranged in thy
situation! How subtle what He has made for thy task! He has
made thee the key to a new month for a new situation.
So I ask God, my Lord and thy Lord, my Creator and thy
Creator, my Determiner and thy Determiner, my Form-giver and
thy Form-giver, that He bless Muhammad and his Household and
appoint thee a crescent of blessings not effaced by days and
of purity not defiled by sins;
A crescent of security from blights and of safety from evil
deeds; a crescent of auspiciousness containing no misfortune,
of prosperity accompanied by no adversity, of ease not mixed
with difficulty, of good unstained by evil; a crescent of
security and faith, favour and good-doing, safety and
submission!
O God, bless Muhammad and his Household, place us among the
most satisfied of those over whom the crescent has risen, the
purest of those who have looked upon it, the most fortunate of
those who have worshipped Thee under it; give us the success
during [the new month] to repent, preserve us within it from
misdeeds, guard us therein from pursuing disobedience to Thee,
Allot to us within it thanksgiving for Thy favour, clothe us
during it in the shields of well-being, and complete for us
Thy kindness by perfecting therein obedience to Thee! Surely
Thou art All-kind, Praiseworthy. And bless Muhammad and his
Household, the good, the pure.”
Paying of Zakat-e-Fitrah is obligatory for all who can pay it
to make the happiness of Eid-ul-Fitr universal and it should
be delivered to the have-nots and deserving so that they could
also join the Eid festival like others.
How great this philosophy is that Zaat-e-Illahi has made the
help of the poor mandatory on this occasion because fasting is
must for every Muslim man, woman, wise and adult while fasting
has been termed the month of sharing grieves, during the whole
month one thinks of the hunger and thirst of the poor while
bearing the brunt of hunger and thirst themselves.
He made it clear that Eid-ul-Fitr is the Eid in the happiness
of which seriousness, etiquettes and culture have been
imbibed. He said the real Eid is that everyone keeps his inner
soul clean, avoid sins and protects himself from the evil.
There is a saying of Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib
(A.S.) that goes that Eid-ul-Fitr is only for him whose fasts
were accepted by Allah and He watched his Qayam-o-Qaood with
honour. Every day in which Ma’asiyyat-e-Khuda (inobedience to
Allah) has not been done is the day of eid.
Today we are observing Eid-ul-Fitr at a time when bloody
‘holi’ is being played in Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan,
Iraq, and Lebanon and the oppressed nations and the Islamic
World are the target of satanic forces that desire to snatch
the tradition of Ahle Haram and to drive out the deer from
Morghzaar-e-Khatan.
As the motherland Pakistan along with Islamic basis is an
atomic power also that is a mole in the eyes of our combined
enemy; therefore she was utilizing all her energies to
destabilize it. In this situation, it is obligatory for us all
to give priority to the interest of religion, motherland,
Shariat and humanity over every thing so as to thwart every
conspiracy and mischief of the satanic forces.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
