Brussels Mahdavi festival draws Moroccans, Iraqis, Lebanese

BRUSSELS, Belgium: To celebrate the birthday of Imam Mahdi
(AS), the 12th Imam of the infallible progeny of Prophet
Mohammad (Peace by Upon Him and His Progeny), a ceremony was
held at the Imam Reza mosque in the Belgian capital city of
Brussels Saturday night.
Hojjatoleslam Alami, head of the Islamic Association in
London, addressed the large gathering and said the infallible
Imam, now in occultation, is the promised savior of all
nations and he will establish justice and restore peace
worldwide upon his joyous reappearance. May God hasten his
reappearance.
A large number of Arab residents in Brussels from Morocco,
Iraq, Lebanon as well as Iranians attended the ceremony.
The 15th of the lunar month of Sha'ban is the birth
anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AS).
