Africans hold Mehdaviya celebrations

ACCRA, Ghana: Festivals marking the birthday of Al-Imam Al-Mehdi
(p), 12th infallible successor of the last messenger of Allah
Prophet Muhammad (p), were also held in Africa.
According to a report of President of Union of African
Students of Hauza Al-Allama Sheikh Mortadha Al-Bara who
visited his mother country to organize programs of Al-Ashra
Al-Mehdaviya, the happy occasion was zealously celebrated in
Ghana by organizing 10-day (Sha'aban 10-20) festivals at
mosques and houses.
Similar programs were also held in Mali, Madagascar and Ivory
Coast.
