Over 4,000 martyred, 30,000 hurt in Palestinians Intifada

GAZA CITY: A report issued on the sixth anniversary of
Palestinian Intifada said the Israeli Army martyred 4,348
Palestinians since the eruption of the Intifada in September
2000.
More than half, 2,372, were killed in clashes with Israeli
troops in the Gaza Strip, said the report by the Palestinian
Central Bureau of Statistics. Another 1,940 were killed in the
West Bank.
The deaths included 847 minors aged under 18, the report said.
