RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) was the Negehbaan-e-Risalat (protector of prophethood) and Murabbi (patron), protector and defender of the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) and dangers and challenges confronted by Islam today could be tackled by following in his foot-steps.

He stated this while announcing to observe World Youm-ul-Huzn (Day of Grief) on 26th Rabi-ul Awwal (April 15) in connection with the demise anniversary of Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.).

He said Syed-ul Bat-haa, Kuleed Bardar-e-Bait-Ullah (key keeper of House of Allah – Khana Kaba), uncle of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAAW), father of Hazrat Ali Sher-e-Khuda (A.S.) Hazrat Abu Talib Bin Abdul Muttalib (A.S.) was great supporter of the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) who had thrown a challenge to the Taghooti world that they cannot cause any harm to Muhammad (SAAW) till he is alive.

Agha Moosavi said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) had asked Muhammad (SAAW): Preach your message with full force as no body could cause harm to you, be happy and keep your eyes cool. The invitation given by you, I believe, you are the sincerest and truthful and trustworthy, and the religion you have presented is the best from amongst the religions of the world, I am not afraid of any curse or desecration because the generosity of my forefathers is talked about much.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi said that Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S.) is the only personality amongst men whose year of death has been declared as Aam-ul-Huzn (year of grief) by the Holy Prophet (SAAW). Therefore, he said, 26th Rabi-ul Awwal should be observed as Youm-ul-Huzn on which solidarity should be expressed with the oppressed world and prays be offered for the stability, solidarity of the motherland Pakistan, supremacy of the Islamic World and for getting the humanity rid of terrorism.

Meanwhile, World Youm-ul-Huzn Committee of the TNFJ has been formed to organise World Youm-ul-Huzn programmes. Dr. S.M. Rizvi has been nominated as Convener and Haider Abbas Bajwa as Secretary of this Committee.
