‘Iraq crisis problem for all Islamic States’

Shirazi said the crisis in Iraq is an issue for all Islamic countries.
In a meeting with a group of Sunni ulema from Basra, Ayatullah Shirazi
said insecurity and the slaughter of innocent people in Iraq is a
major problem not only for the country’s Muslim people, but also for
all Islamic countries.
“Muslims should not regard unity as just a slogan but should seriously
practice it,” he stated.
He told the ulema, “If you take your steps with wisdom and according
to a plan and fill your hearts with love and friendship, then
definitely you will succeed in expelling the occupiers from the
country and establish peace and security.”
