Leaders send condolence on Ayatullah Meshkini expiry

TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei and leaders from other countries have expressed condolences on the demise of Ayatullah Mirza Ali Meshkini.

Ayatullah Meshkini, 86, passed away on Monday afternoon after two weeks of suffering from pulmonic disease, was head of Assembly of Experts in Iran.

Ayatullah Safi Gulpaygani from the holy city of Qom also consoled the nation on the demise of Ayatullah Meshkini.

Chief of Millat-i-Jafariya Pakistan Seyed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in his message extended condolence to Hazret Baqiyatollah (a.s.), Marajay Ozzam, Ulema-i-Aalam, fozalaa and the Iranian nation on this great loss. He also presented condolence to the bereaved family praying patience for them.

Head of Iraq’s supreme Islamic council Seyed Abdulaziz Al-Hakim presented condolence to the bereaved family, Iranian nation and the supreme leader of Iran.
