RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has vowed that by following in the footsteps of Imam Ali Bin Moosa Ar-Reza (AS) religion and motherland would not be let to be caused harm.

He stated this while announcing to observe "Ayyam-e-Aza" from December 2 - 4 marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali Bin Moosa Ar-Reza (AS).

In a message issued from Maktab-e-Tashayyo's headquarters – TNFJ -, Agha Moosavi said talking about Khasan-e-Ilahi (Divine chosen persons), prophets, messengers, aulia and righteous persons is in fact remembering them, calling attention of humanity towards their good deeds and telling that these holy personalities performed that matchless deeds following which we could walk on path of progress even today.

He stressed that Quran has also talked about prophets and good persons of Allah, because talking about them is a source of satisfaction of heart; human dignity and respect and honour of religious values is linked with their remembrance; further it is confrontation with oppression, barbarism and cruelty, and revival of invitation of Tauhid, Risalat, Wilayat and good deeds. He said pious divine servants remained protectors, defenders, preachers and spokespersons of these values and for this reason keeping continue commemoration of righteous persons, Creator of the Universe ordered Hazrat Moosa (AS) to observe "Ayyam-Ullah" (Days of Allah).

The TNFJ chief said our most important responsibility is that let not remembrance of Risalat Maab, Ahle Baite Atahaar and their holy Sahaba Kibaar to be forgotten.

He said Hazrat Imam Ali Reza (AS) is the great figure of Ahle Baite Rasool (SAWW) and eighth justified successor of Holy Prophet (SAWW. He is called Abul-Hasan SAni. His titles are Sabir, Razi, Wafi and Reza. Reason behind 'Reza' is that he he was favourite of Allah in heaven, source of reza (pleasure) of holy Prophet (SAWW) and A'immah Huda (AS) on earth and foes and friends all were pleased with him.

Moosavi told that when his respected father Hazrat Imam Moosa Kazim (AS) was martyred with poison, a bloody war began between Mamoon and Ameen. During this Mamoon made a vow that in case of his success he will hand over caliphate to the progeny of Abu Talib (AS). Therefore after defeating Ameen, Mamoon became duty bound to fulfil this vow; therefore he forced Imam Reza (AS) to accept caliphate, crown prince-ship.

He made clear that work of divine-chosen persons is inviting towards The Magnificent, The Merciful, and saving from satanic tactics; none of their deed is empty of wisdom. Therefore as Prophet Yousaf (AS) accepted to become heir-apparent of Azize Misar (Egypt's King) for welfare of humanity which is mentioned in Holy Quran, similarly Imam Reza (AS) unwillingly accepted to become crown prince only to save Ummat-e-Wasat, and said by God My father has warned according to a hadis of Prophet of Allah (SAWW) that I will leave this world before you, I will be martyred with poison, will be buried beside the grave of Harun Rashid, and heavens and earth will weep for me. Mamoon asked who can do this in my presence. Imam (AS) replied: I can tell who will martyr me. In brief, Mamoon issued Ehd-Nama (agreement) regarding status and greatness of Imam (AS). Therein he made clear that at this time the most important and superior personality is Hazrat Ali bin Moosa Ar-Reza (AS). His objective was so that People came to know about his crown-prince-ship and recognize Islamic society with the title of Imam.

Ehd-Nama (covenant) went on saying: Islam is the favourite religion of Allah. Allah has chosen between Him and His servants Rasool (SAWW) who guides people towards Him. The Prophet who came first gave good news of the coming prophet, and the prophet who came after verified the former one up to this that chain of Nabuwwat and Risalat ended on the prophethood of Muhammad Mustafa (SAWW). Book (Quran) was revealed on the holy Prophet (SAWW) wherein Batil (falsehood) cannot find way from anywhere. Holy Prophet (SAWW) fulfilled his duties very well; invited human beings towards Allah with his good virtues up to this that Allah called Prophet (SAW) to Him. When Nabuwwat ended and chain of wahi stopped, He enclosed firmness of religion and system and affairs of Muslims in caliphate and successor-ship. It is the responsibility of successors of Prophet to invite servants of Allah towards religion, protect and defend it, obey Allah, and Muslims are duty bound to follow divine-chosen persons. If there exists no conformity between imam and mamoom (follower), leader and the nation then the society will become a target of differences, and rift will become preface of success of enemy. A leader and guide should effort for justice and equity and should keep in mind that he will be responsible of oppressions being done within circle of his government. I was thinking since long to select the most suitable personality for this most important responsibility, and present him as leader and imam. In finding such a person, I could not get sleep of night and rest of day because I want to introduce such a person who takes care of ummat, keeps superiority above all in religion, excellence, knowledge and holiness; I prayed Allah day and night to help me; after deep search, I found Ali bin Moosa Ar-Reza (AS) unparallel with regard to knowledge, piety, pious-ness, excellence and honour, and the most suitable for caliphate. Now Mamoon orders his all sons, children, army and servants to step forward to take oath of allegiance to Imam Reza (AS) with happiness, and know that I have mashed self desires in front of Allah's power and satisfied with Imam Reza (AS).

Therefore, all took oath of allegiance to Imam Reza (AS). Imam penned down on the backside of ehd-nama which last lines were: I am Ali bin Moosa Ar-Reza. May Allah guide him. To some extent he recognized our right while others neglected it. I accept crown-prince-ship to save Muslims from differences and to change religion's decline to elevation. If Allah keeps me alive after Mamoon?

Agha Moosavi said that after this agreement, Imam's name was included in Friday sermons even the sermon of Imam of Haramain; also his name was inscribed on coins. But as he was successor of Rasool (SAWW) and inheritor of Ali (AS) and Batool (AS), therefore he did not care for anyone's enmity in giving right of oppressed to him and establishment of justice.

How such holy personalities could be accepted by dictators and oppressive rulers of the world, therefore Imam like his forefathers kissed martyrdom with poison. His holy shrine housed in Mashhad Muqaddas is a place of all creatures.

Extending condolence and consolation to the family of Prophet (SAWW) on the sad occasion of "Ayyam-e-Aza" marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali bin Moosa Ar-Reza (AS), the Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi reiterated his resolve to support oppressed and have-nots and condemn world of oppression and barbarism.
