RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Universal Hafta-e-Wilayat (Wilayat Week) has begun on Saturday on the call of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Mahafil, gatherings and religious functions were organised throughout the country on this occasion.

Mahafil, conferences and programmes on the topic of Ghadeer and Mobahila were also organised in mosques and Imambargahs in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and the surrounding areas under the auspices of different religious organisations and institutions.

Syeda Binte Musa Moosavi addressing the Mehfil-e-Wilayat organised at She’b-e-Abi Talib under the auspices of Anjuman Kaneezan-e-Asr Waz Zaman said that Wilayat of Amirul Momineen (A.S.) is the certificate of religion’s completion. She stressed the need for all religious persons to hold Daman-e-Murtaza to fulfil the objective of their creation.

A gathering was organised at Masjid and Imambargah Ahle Bait under the auspices of TNFJ Local Council Wah Cantt. Hojjatul Islam Wal Muslimeen Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, chief of the Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Jafariya Pakistan was the chief guest.

Giving his presidential address, Syed Hussain Muqaddasi said that Wilayat of religion and Shariat is the certificate of completion of religion and a ladder to come near to Allah. He said Allah gave His commandment to the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) on his way back from Hojjatul Wida to announce the Wilayat Declaration. Therefore, the Khatmi Martabat (SAAW) got prepared a special ‘Mimber’ (pulpit) in the plain at Ghadeer and announced in the presence of more than one lakh Hujjaj that “Ali is the Maula of those, I’m the Maula of whom”.

Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, addressing the Mehfil-e-Ghadeer and Mobahila organised at Imambargah Zain Al-Aza under the auspices of Anjuman Faiz-e-Punjtan said that when Nasara-e-Najran could not be convinced through arguments and Quranic verses then the Holy Prophet (SAAW) took some holy personalities i.e. Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Fatima (S.A.) and Hasnain (A.S.). for Mobahila with them.

He said these are the personalities whose names are enough for fulfilment of ‘Hajaat’, who rule the hearts of the people, and whose love and devotion rests in hearts, that is why the colonial powers failed to empty their hearts from their love and could not divert them from the righteous path.

He said commitment will be announced during the Universal Hafta-e-Wilayat to be observed from Zilhij 18-25 so as to get the people rid of oppression and brutality and to adopt the path showed by Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) besides complete solidarity will be expressed with the oppressed and have-nots the world over.

Meanwhile, the participants of the gathering adopted a resolution unanimously strongly condemning the heinous murder of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in the Liaquat Bagh incident and declared it a heinous conspiracy against the democratic forces.

The resolution said that giving strike calls at a time when there is need to support the country, is tantamount to pushing the nation and the country towards difficulties.

The resolution appealed the politicians and the rulers to understand survival of the motherland, and avoid polishing their politics in the garb of such incidents. It demanded from the government to compensate the damages to life and property while all sections of society should share their grief because giving any violent policy is tantamount to adding fuel to the fire and we strongly condemn such an attitude.
