HELSINKI, Finland: Devotees of Ahlul Beit living in Europe also observed the anniversary of martyrdom of Al-Imam As-SAjjad (A.S.) as well as first anniversary of destruction of Samarra shrine of Al-Imamain Ali bin Muhammad Al-Hadi (A.S.) and Hasan bin Ali Al-Askari (A.S.).

In Finland, a commemorative gathering was held at Al_Imam Al-Baqer (A.S.) center on Muharram 24. Large number of people attended. Sayyed Shanan opened the ceremony with recitation of holy Quran. Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khaffaji and Sayyed Abo-Adnan Abbas Taqi addressed while Abo-Nur and Abo-Ghaneem recited elegies followed by dinner.

In Essen city of Holland, Al-Imam Al-Hussein (A.S.) Foundation and Mosque arranged on 13 February Tuesday a majlis al-azaa to commemorate destruction of golden dome of Al-Imamain Al-Askariyain (A.S.) shrine in Samarra and martyrdom of Imam AS-Sajjad (A.S.). Sayyed Mostafa Al-Moosavi addressed majlis and Sayyed Abbas Al-Gharifi recited elegies. Dinner was served.

In Berlin City of Germany, a mourning ceremony was held at Islamic Heritage Center on Wednesday 14 February. Office of Supreme Council for Islamic Revolution in Iraq organized the occasion.
