By: Abdulali

AD-DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia: Mo’minin of Dammam said that the authorities have ordered arrest of organizers of ladies Majalis Al-Husseiniah at homes.

According to the reliable sources the orders of capture were signed by deputy prince of eastern region Galvi bin Abdulaziz.

83-year-old Sayyedah Fatimah Ali Al-Momin is one of the four citizens who were forced to sign a promise that “they will not exploit their homes for religious gatherings or Husseini majalis al-azaiyah or observance of events throughout the year …”

The other three were Salman Ahmed Al-Ibad, 46, Hasan Muhammad Al-Hashim, 48, Ali Abdullah Al-Yousaf, 40.

They were threatened that in case of violation of this promise they will be imprisoned.

Residents say these orders are not new.

It is worth noting that security agencies in the eastern region is more active during this time period (Moharram 1- Rabiol Olaa 8 [Husseini mourning period]) every year to arrest mo’minin for their Husseini activities.

But, as compare to mo’minin residing in eastern parts, mo’minin of Dammam city face more pressure for not holding Ashuraiyah programs.
