Holy Najaf confab focuses on security during Moharram

HOLY CITY OF NAJAF, Iraq: A conference to review Moharram
arrangements was held in the holy city of Najaf presided over by
Najaf’s deputy governor Alhaj Abdul-Hussein Abtan and attended by
security officials and heads of Husseini mawakeb.
The conference was opened with recitation of Husseini
Qasaed followed by a speech by Alhaj Abdul-Hussein Abtan in which he
highlighted the role of governorate, its people and officials of
Husseini mawakeb in securing and holding Husseini marasem.
