PIRAEUS, Greece: Paying homage to great sacrifice of Imam Hussein (AS) and his 72 sincere companions in the burning desert of Karbala in the year 61 AH for defense of religion and Shariah and safety of human values, majalis-e-aza and processions are being held in Greece.

Allama Nesar Abbas, Syed Qamar Abbas, Mayser Abbas Tor, Zulfiqar Ali Jafri, Sheikh Qamar, Sajid Hussein SAjid and Muhammad Afzal Abbas address daily majalis organized by markezi matmi sangat Shahzada Aun-o-Muhammad at Aza Khana Gulzar-e-Zainab Dimitras - 1 Piraeus 18540 Greece.

Replica coffin of Shahzada Aun-o-Muhammad (AS) was taken out on 5th Muharram, replica cot of Shahzada Ali Asghar (AS) on 6th Muharram, Mehndi of Hazrat Qasim bin Hasan (AS) on 7th Muharram, Alam of Hazrat Abbas (AS) on 8th Muharram, replica coffin of Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) on 9th Muharram while replica coffin of Zibhi Azeem Hazrat Imam Hussein (AS) will be brought out on Ashura Muharram 10.

On the eve of Ashura, a mourning procession will be held at 0900PM which will terminate at Aza Khana Gulzar-e-Zainab after passing through its designated routes. Later at the aza khana, amaal of shab-e-Ashur will be performed followed by azan (prayer-call) of Imam Hussein (AS)’s 18-year-old son Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS).

On Ashura, a mourning procession will be taken out at 0300PM. During the procession, zanjeer-zani will be performed.
