Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs observe Grief of Imam Hussain (AS) in India

LUCKNOW, India: In India, regardless of religion, Grief of Imam Hussain (AS) is observed by Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and Christians equally. There are many processions that have been organized by Hindus since long.

Big majalis and jaloos are being held attended by hundreds of thousands of Hussaini mourners according to Indian traditions with due respect.

There are tens of thousands of venues in the country where Hussaini mourning is being held.

Maulana Mirza Mohammed Ather addresses at Masjid E Iraniya – Mumbai, while Maulana Abid Bilgrami in Bandra on topic of Tarikh-e-Islam, Maulana Syed Meesam Zaidi at Imambara Agha Baqar, Lucknow UP, Roohul Millat Maulana Syed Ali Nasir Saeed Agha Roohi Abaqati at Saeedul Millat Hall, Shia College, Nakkhas, Lucknow, UP, and Fakhruz Zakerin, Maulan Munawer Salil at Imambargha-e- Hazrat-e-Abbas A.S. Khoja war, Bhavnaghar.
