Holy Karbala shrouds black, Husseini traditions back

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Everything belonging to observation of
days of Holy Prophet (p)’s Ahlil Bayt (p) - traditions, customs and
culture - that were in 70s of the last century and Saddam regime had
banned them, have returned in the Iraqi society.
 
The entire holy city of Karbala, its shopping malls, markets and
official and non-official buildings have been shrouded in black from
the very first day of Moharram rather prior to it when the leaders of
Husseini organizations and processions began preparations to
commemorate the TRAGEDY OF KARBALA.
Thousands of big takaya and camps have been set up throughout the
route to Holy Karbala and Holy Najaf to facilitate Husseini guests
with food, hot and cold drinks, and fruits besides providing them
place to rest.
Tabarrok of Imam Hussein (p) is being cooked in very giant pots.
