RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Big gatherings of Maktab-e-Tashayyo were witnessed in Eidgahs, Jamia Masajid, Imambargahs and at open places in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

Ulema, Khutaba and Waizeen in their address highlighted the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi and philosophy of sacrifice and stressed the need of practically promoting the pious feelings of sacrifice, brotherhood and tolerance so as to resolve all problems confronted by the humanity.

Special prays were offered for the success of oppressed of the Islamic World including that of Palestine, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon.

The Eidul Azha’s main congregation, held at M.C. Ground Satellite Town Rawalpindi, was led by Allama Syed Basim Abbas Zaheri, the Representative of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while Allama Ijaz Hussain Modarris delivered the Khutba of Eidul Azha in which he highlighted the philosophy of Haj and sacrifice.

Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Central Secretary Information of Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan read out the message of Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Moosavi in which he said that Khasan-e-Khuda continued their struggle to become near Allah and confronted dictators and tyrant rulers and through their deeds declared upon the Satanic forces that we could be murdered, treated badly and put into fire but could not be diverted from the righteous path.

He said Eid-e-Qurban is the memory of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi when Khalil-Ullah Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) presented the sacrifice of his beloved son Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) in way of Allah. He made it clear that Haj Bait-Ullah is the greatest symbol of unity and brotherhood of Ummat-e-Wasat as it is the only congregation of the world of humanity where all types of discrimination i.e. colour, creed etc. end and unity, brotherhood and oneness is displayed. He said Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) says in Saheefa-e-Kamilah that “O, Allah! It is a pious and holy day on which Muslims from all sides of earth gather on one point, and seek His blessings and are seen afraid of His wrath. You keep an eye on their requests, therefore on the basis of Your blessings and on the basis that all my requests are easy for You, I ask You to shower Your blessings on Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.)”

In the seventh sentence of the same pray, he says, “O, Allah! This great place was for your inheritors, chosen men and those of Your trustees who were showered with highest status but the oppressors snatched it from them.”

He continues that one of the reservation from amongst the best reservations is that His pious men bear the problems of this world, exercise patience and forbearance on oppressions so that their patience is displayed and the oppressors do not find a chance to say that we were forced otherwise we would have turned the world topsy-turvy. Allah by giving relaxation to oppressors fulfils Hujjat on them and by giving the strength to bear to the oppressed increases their Ajr and Sawaab.

Then the Masoom (A.S.) prays that as a result Your selected men would be oppressed, their rights slipped from their hands, today they are watching that Your commandments have been changed, Your Book has been set aside, Your laws are given another direction, and the methodologies of Your Rasool (SAAW) are being ignored.

The TNFJ chief said that the outcome of these mistakes is being borne by the whole humanity, status of the Kashmir and Palestine issues remain the same, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq are turned into debris, new maps are being brought to fore, oppressor is being presented as oppressed and the oppressed as an oppressor. He said there is a saying of the Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali (A.S.) that illness is from Your side and the treatment is also with You.

The Eidul Azha congregation adopted a resolution saying that rulers who are playing agents to the Satanic world are responsible for the woes Ummat-e-Wasat is undergoing. Therefore, if we have to save our countries, achieve Kashmir and Palestine, drive out allied forces from Afghanistan and Iraq, then we would have to get rid of the Satanic forces.

The resolution while expressing complete solidarity with the oppressed the world over, particularly the oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Iraq called upon the international organizations, particularly the United Nations to play their role in getting the long-standing Islamic problems resolved, while the representative organization of the Islamic World i.e. the OIC should wake up from the deep slumber and give proof of its honour and dignity by ending the problems and difficulties of the Muslim Ummah and formulating a courageous and concrete strategy to get it rid with the problems faced by it.

Another resolution declared that all schools of thought would support any line of action to be given by Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Hamid Moosavi from the platform of Markaz-e-Tashayyo i.e. TNFJ for Muharram.

Another resolution strongly condemned all incidents of terrorism including the martyrdom of Prof. Nazakat Ali Imrani of Dera Ismail Khan and Azadar Ghulam Raza Naqvi, and demanded from the government to ensure effective implementation of the Anti-Terrorism Act for restoration of durable peace in the country. In this connection the government should take strict notice of the banned organizations working with new names and tackle them with an iron hand.
