AL-QATIF, Saudi Arabia: Celebrations in connection with
Idd Al-Ghadir or the Feast of Ghadir also known as Idd Al-Welayah were
in continuation in the oil-rich mo’minin-dominated eastern region of
Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

18 of Dhol-Hejjah marks the Idd Al-Ghadir – the day when holy Prophet
Muhammad (p) declared Al-Imam Ali (p) as his first successor by the
command of Allah.
The celebrations in the kingdom began on Thursday January 4
Dhol-Hejjah 14 and will culminate on Wednesday January 10 Dhol-Hejjah
20.


A festive gathering was held on Sunday night 7 Jan. (on the eve of 18
Dhol-Hejjah) at Ar-Rasul Al-Adham (p) mosque in Ad-Dakhal Al-Mahdod in
Al-Qatif. Al-Ostaz Hasan Ad-Dahilab, Sheikh Fadhil Al-Jamid, Al-Ostaz
Nayef Ad-Dalili, Al-Ostaz Ali Ash-Sheikh and An-Nabaa-el Adheem group
addresse and recited.
Sheikh Abdol-Ghani Al-Abbas and a number of poets addressed a festival
on Sunday at husseiniyah Al-Aseef in Ash-Shaveykah, Al-Qatif.

In Ar-Ramelah of Al-Ahsaa province, an Idd Al-Ghadir celebratory
program was organized at husseiniyah Al-Abbasiyah on Sunday 7 Jan.
Abo-Ghassan, Mostafa Al-Muhammad, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jazaeri, Al-Molla
Ali Al-Ahmed reciting and addressing paid rich homage to the Ahl-ol
Beit (p).
In Sanabas, husseiniyah As-Sayyed Al-Khoi arranged a festival on
Sunday. Sheikh Ahmed Al-Alivaat and Salih Al-Mo’min made the gathering
fragrant with their speeches and eulogies.
On Saturday 6 January, a festive gathering was held at husseiniyah Al-Majabel
in Al-Mabraz of Al-Ahsaa province.
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ibad, poet Bassem Al-Ithan and Husseini elegist Ali
Al-Ashur addressed a festival on Thursday 4 Jan. at husseiniyah Al-Mostafa
in Al-Matirfi in Al-Ahsaa.
Devotees of Az-Zahraa (p) committee will hold a welayi festival to
mark the auspicious occasion on Wednesday 10 Jan. at husseiniyah Al-Molla
Hasan An-Nasser (late) in Al-Aujam, Al-Qatif. Groups Maseerah Ash-Shauq
(Ad-Dammam), Ahl-ol Beit (Al-Aujam), eulogist Sayyed Qassem Ash-Shakhs
(Al-Ahsaa), eulogist Maher Al-Hamdan (Al-Qadih), eulogist Aiman As-Senan
(Al-Aujam) and eulogist Hussein Al-Marzok (Al-Aujam) will address and
recite in praise of Ahl-ol Beit (p).
