DUSHANBE, Tajikistan: The auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, like other countries, was also celebrated in Tajikistan and China.

The celebrations marking Ghadir Feast were held at mosques and husseiniahs.

In a ceremony held in the premises of Iran's embassy in Dushanbe, Iran's Cultural Attache in Tajikistan Qahreman Soleymani delivered a speech to the audience. He highlighted the philosophy of Eid Al-Ghadir and the character of Imam Ali (AS). Guests were also invited to participate in a quiz related to the Islamic faith and history and the winners were awarded.

In china, a number of devotees belonging to different nationalities participated in a festival organized at husseiniah Haideriah. Speakers and eulogists offered bouquets of tributes to the Imam Ali (AS).

At another ceremony marking the happy day was held in Beijing, devotees of Imam Ali (AS) expressed their respect to the families and relatives of Islam's great Prophet and Imams, and stressed on their heart connection with the holy men.

Some students of the late Ayatullah Khomeini School in Beijing recited their articles about the importance of the Eid and its traditions. Holding a contest on the event of Eid Al-Ghadir, reciting hymn by the students, eulogizing Ahlolbeit (the progeny of the great Prophet Mohammad (SA)), displaying some scenes of Imam Ali (AS) TV series, and Chinese shows were among the other programs of the ceremony.
