RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi strongly condemning the suicide bomb attack near the meeting place of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Islamabad has termed it an open act of terrorism and the work of the satanic forces.

In a statement issued here late Tuesday evening, he expressed profound grief on heavy loss of life and said the objective of what is happening and being patronised is to divert the motherland from Basic Ideology and real targets and to punish it for being an atomic power.

Agha Moosavi said it has been our point of view for the last many decades that a terrorist is only a terrorist and attaching him with any country or Maktab is commensurate with strengthening the terrorists. He said the government, opposition, politicians, and religious leaders should keep in mind that terrorists and suicide attackers do not look at any person, party or Maslak, therefore, we would have to thwart this most heinous conspiracy against the nation and the country by becoming united.

He said the suicide attack in Islamabad was not meant for judiciary, similarly the suicide attacks on D.I. Khan, Sawat, Miranshah, and Mir Ali were actually aimed at Islam, Pakistan and its people rather than on armed forces, police, and innocent citizens. He said now the time is to exercise wisdom and all decisions should be based on wisdom and not to satisfy the personal feelings.

The TNFJ chief said that all those who lost their life in all these incidents are sons of the soil. He expressed the desire that all sections of society should give priority to Islam and Pakistan instead of their own persons and the party, did not let sabotage the Anti-Terrorism Act and did not make the banned groups sit in their lap, then perhaps the country would not have confronted such conditions and incidents today.

He said we want to tell everyone that Pakistan came into being to remain intact and no power on earth could make any interference in it and every conspiracy and mischief of the enemy would be thwarted through mutual unity and brotherhood.

The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi said that all work is not supposed to be done by the government only, rather the opposition, religious and political parties, lawyers, and the people should remain alert and should take care of each other as it is the only way to thwart the nefarious designs of the enemy.
