Karbala Rajab 3 mourning gatherings slam Saudi edicts on Samarra

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Marking Al-Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS)’s
martyrdom anniversary on Rajab 3, grand spiritual mourning programs
were held across the country particularly in the holy cities of
Karbala and Samarra.
Holding black Husseini standards to signify their deep grief on the
martyrdom of sahib-el Qabr Al-Mahdoom Al-Imam Al-Hadi (AS), large
number of mourners participated in the main procession in Karbala.
The mourning procession strongly condemned Arab and Islamic silence on
the demolition of Al-Askariyain shrine in Samarra and denounced fatawa
(edicts) from extremist Saudi clerics which increase sectarianism and
target Al-Mazhab Al-Ja’fari and Ahlul Beit (AS).
The participants demanded from the government immediate reconstruction
of the sacred shrine.
The procession first reached at the holy shrine of Abi’l Fadhl Al-Abbas
(AS) and then culminated at the holy Husseini shrine extending to them
condolence marking the occasion.
