CJ reinstatement ruling ‘victory of justice’, says Moosavi
By: Salman Alvi
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid
Ali Shah Moosavi has termed the decision of reinstating Chief Justice
of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry a victory of justice and
fair-play.
In a statement issued here on Friday, he said the decision of the Full
Bench of the Supreme Court is not a success, victory or defeat of any
personality, party, government or opposition but supremacy of justice
and fair-play. Everyone would have to cool down his desires and
sentiments because the oppression and brutality can be rooted out,
justice and fair-play can be promoted, rights can be achieved, and
freedom and independence can prevail through decisions taken with
wisdom.
Agha Moosavi said the government, the opposition and all other
institutions should work by remaining within their limits because
crossing the set limits creates crises. He said the government has
displayed wisdom by accepting the decision of reinstatement of the
Chief Justice. This decision, he added, carries a lesson for the
people of this era and the future generations. We should not limit
ourselves only to reinstatement of the Chief Justice rather the
rulers, politicians, and all sections of society would have to give
priority to justice and fair-play, trustworthiness, sincerity, and
truthfulness over all other matters. He said the whole nation should
offer thanks-giving prayers on the end of judicial crisis.
The Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Moosavi made it clear that basis
and reality of the religion of Islam is justice and fair-play and the
whole universe rests on Qist-o-Adl (justice) on which the Ayah of
Surah Younis stands witness: “Your Rabb does not carry out oppression
against anyone”.
He said right from the beginning, the Representatives of Allah
utilized all their energy in restoring justice and fair-play and
rooting out oppression, brutality, and suppression. He said the whole
world including Pakistan lack justice and fair-play owing to crises
confronted by them.
Declaring Zuhd-o-Taqwa as the standard of supremacy, he said justice
is most near to it. Therefore, Allah Says in Surah Maida: “Do justice
as it is near to Taqwa”.

"Knowledge is
better than wealth because it protects you while you have to
guard wealth. it decreases if you keep on spending it but the
more you make use of knowledge ,the more it increases . what you
get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears but
what you achieve through knowledge will remain even after you."MORE
