AL-MANAMA, Bahrain: On the eve and day of the death anniversary of
Sayedah Omm-al-Banin (AS), mother of Abo-l Fadhl Al-Abbas (AS) and
spouse of Al-Imam Ali (AS), big majlis al-aza were held across the
country.
Bab-ol Hawaej (Gate to fulfill needs) Sayedah Omm-al-Banin (AS) was
died 4 years after the Karbala Tragedy on 13 Jamady Ath-Thaniyah.
Addressing a majlis al-aza at Masjid masaed Ash-Shomali in Raas
Ar-Rommam, Sayyed Mehdi Al-Monawwari threw light on the status of Omm
Al-Banin (AS), her greatness and sacrifice rendered in the scorching
desert of Karbala in 61 AH. Husseini elegist Sayyed Raed Al-Karbalayi
recited elegies. Ashbaal oz Zahraa (AS) organized the gathering.
Osh-Shaq Al-Hussein arranged a majlis al-aza at husseiniyah Al-Qassab
in Al-Manama attended by large number of mourners.
Sheikh Abdor-Redha Ma’ash addressed while renowned husseini elegist
Bassem Al-Karbalayi and Sayyed Abo-Ghayeb recited elegies.
