LONDON, Britain: Religious Scholars Organization in Britain
organized a conference titled “Samarra – a bleeding wound” in London
attended by large number of clerics, intellectuals and thinkers.

Al-Allamah Sheikh Fadhil Al-Khateeb ran the conference. In his address
to the gathering, Al-Khateeb threw light in detail on the importance
and significance of the holy city of Samarra owing to the holy shrine
of Hazrat Imamain Ali Naqi Al-Hadi and Al-Hasan Al-Askari (peace be on
them), 10th and 11th infallible successors of the Holy Prophet Hazrat
Muhammad (peace be on him and his holy progeny).

The conference strongly condemned terrorist attacks and aggression
against the holy Askariya shrine.
