Syria: Fatimi celebrations draw masses

DAMASCUS, Syria: Celebrating the birth anniversary of Sayedah
Fatimah Az-Zahra Al-Batoul (a.s.), the only daughter of Prophet
Muhammad (s.w.), festivals and galas were held across Syria.
Main festival was held at the holy shrine of Sayedah Zeinab binte
Ali (a.s.) in Damascus while offices of Maraje and Ayaat, husseiniyaat
and mosques also hosted festive gatherings to mark the auspicious
occasion.
Speaker Sheikh Jamal Al-Bahraini addressed a gathering at Ash-Shirazi
office. He focused his address on the Quranic chapter ‘Al-Kauther’.
