Qom’s Ayatullah Lankarani passes away

HOLY CITY OF QOM, Iran: Ayatullah Fazil Lankarani, one of Maraje of
the holy city of Qom, has died on Saturday June 16. He was 78.
His funeral will be held on Monday in the Holy Qom and he will be
buried in the holy shrine compound of Hazret-e-Fatimeh Al-Masumeh (a.s.).
Hoza Elmia Qom has announced five-day general mourning on the death of
Ayatullah Lankarani.
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei has expressed condolence
on the departure of late Ayatullah appreciating his services.
