TORONTO, Canada: The Ja'ffari Islamic Youth (JIY) and Tabligh
Committee of the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat of Toronto
commemorated the Shahadat (martyrdom anniversary) of Sayyidah
Fatimaatuz Zahra (sa) by holding a multi-night Fatimiyyah program.
Many Masajid and Hussainiyyat across Canada held Majalis to
remember the lady of light Sayyidah Fatimaatuz Zahra (sa) and the
tragedy that befell her.
The program held at the Ja'ffari Islamic Centre hosted over one
thousand people, including guest speaker Sayyid Ammar Nakshawani.
Alamdaar Sayyid also recited Matam.
Many Question and Answer sessions were held, as well as an all-night
"campout" with the boys and Sayyid Ammar at the mosque.
