ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: "Youm-e-Maadar-e-Abbas Bawafa" was observed on
friday Jamadi-us Sani 13, June 29 throughout Pakistan like other
global parts with due reverence and respect on the call of
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to mark the
death anniversary of respected mother of Qamar Bani Hashim Hazrat
Ghazi Abbas Alamdar (AS), Hazrat Ummul Banin (AS).

The day began with recitation of Quran at mosques after dawn.
majalis-e-aza and matamdari were organized at imambargahs and
aza-khanas by different religious and matmi associations.
Addressing a majlis-e-aza held under arrangements of Syed Moazzam Ali
Rizvi advocate at imambargah Zain-ul Abideen (AS), Central Secretary
Information TNFJ Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi said mothers of the
whole world would have to create spirit of sacrifice of Hazrat Ummul
Banin (AS) in their hearts to get rid of colonial oppression and
terrorism.
Allama Nasir Abbas Multan in his address said Ummul Banin (AS) is that
great woman of the most brave clan of Arab - Bani Kilab - in whose lap
was brought up the inheritor of Haideri bravery Hazrat Abul Fazl-il
Abbas (AS).
Allama Sheikh Ijaz, Maulana Basim Abbas Zahiri and Zakir Munawwar Ali
Naqvi also addressed the majlis.
Allama Ejaz Hussain Modarris, Allama Syed Qamar Zaidi and Allama Syed
Basim Abbas Zahiri addressed a majlis-e-aza to mark the occasion at
Ali Mosque Satellite Town Rawalpindi. Malik Irshad Hussain Awan was
the organizer.

A resolution adopted on this occasion said that former British prime
minister Tony Blair has went away wearing the necklace of curse in his
neck; now the new premier should play his role for immediate
withdrawal of the title 'sir' from Rushdi Maloon conferred to him by
the British Queen. The resolution urged OIC to wake up from deep
slumber, display modesty and honour, and devise a bold strategy for
solution of problems of the Islamic world by coming out of shackles of
Arab and Ajam. Otherwise there is no justification for its existence.
By another resolution, the majlis strongly condemned massacre of
innocent Iraqis and disgrace of holy places on the soil of Iraq,
particularly Samarra Tragedy. It stressed on world organizations to
play their important role in withdrawal of Allied forces from Iraq,
deployment of peace force there and to ensure dignity of holy places.
Ummul Banin WF, Girls Guide and Sakina Generation organized a
majlis-e-aza at Markazi imambargah Jamiatul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad.

Khateeba Aal-e-Aba Syeda Bintul Huda while addressing the majlis said
Mother of Abbas (AS) is the height of dignity of character. And it is
sufficient for her merit and supremacy that she is the mother of Abbas
like son. Hafeeza Khatoon, Farhat Fatima, Abeela Kazmi, Zahra Naqvi,
Ummul Banin, Binte Moosa and Zainab Alvia also addressed.
At the end of the majlis, taboot of Hazrat Ummul Banin (AS) was taken
out and matam-daari was performed. Workers of Ummul Banin WF, Girls
Guide and Sakina Generation Islamabad city performed security duty.
Dr Shabeeh-e-Zahra addressed a majlis-e-aza organized by Anjum Fez-e-Panjtan
women wing at imambargah Zawari Begum followed by matam-daari.
Allama Arif Hussain Al-Hussaini, Shehzad Sanadi, Ali Zeb Kazmi, Manzar
Abbas Kazmi, Mushahid Abbas and Imtiaz Hussain Kazmi addressed a
majlis at Ali Hall organized by Hay'at Tulba-e-Islamia.
