OSLO, Norway: To mark the 18th death anniversary of late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran Grand Ayatullah Seyed Ruhullah Khomeini Al-Moosawi, commemorative programs were continued in different countries.

A selection of photos showing scenes from the life of Ayatullah Khomeini opened on June 2 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The exhibit has been cosponsored by Iran’s Cultural House in Paris and the Iranian Embassy.

The photos were taken in 1978 in Neauphle-le-Chateau by the filmmaker Rasul Sadr-Ameli who was a journalist at that time.

In addition, a poetry night featuring Iranian students residing in France was held at the venue in commemoration of the late Ayatullah.

In Iranian capital city of Tehran, a conference “Imam Khomeini in the Realm of Religion” commenced on Friday at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Hall in Tehran.

Several scientific, cultural, and political figures attended the opening ceremony of the conference which is focusing on the dignity of mankind. The secretary of the academic committee of the conference, Hojjatoleslam Qazizadeh, said that a working group had been organized last year in order to answer many questions on the significance of human life.

An exhibition of late Ayatullah Khomeini works was held in Oslo, Norway capital.

According to the report of central headquarter of the late Imam Commemoration ceremony, the exhibition included films, painting contest, feature writing and other cultural contests and also translation of late Ayatullah's poems in the Norwegian language.
