Brethren in Islam and faith!
Nawasa-e-Rasool os-Saqalain Shahzada-e-Konain Hazrat Imam Hussain Ibne
Ali (A.S.) by giving sacrifice of his 72 faithful near and dear ones
in the hot desert of Karbala not only protected and defended religion
and Shariat but also enhanced the dignity of respect to humanity and
sanctity of the human being.
That is why Hussain (A.S.) is respected not only by a single group,
region or a sect rather the whole humanity is proud of invaluable
sacrifice of his that has been termed as
. They
not only are proud of it rather consider it a source of their survival
and blessing. The universal Chehlum (Arbaeen-e-Hussaini) is
commemoration of bravery of these great personalities, teaches to the
movements of freedom and independence, and the oppressed nations how
to struggle and live and how to give life for the righteousness.
The 20th Safar-ul-Muazaffar is the day of Chehlum of those who laid
down their life in way of Zuhd-o-Taqwa and carried out true defence of
human rights, who restored strongest and most stable foundation of
religion and shariat, liberty and independence, and conscience by
sacrificing their pious and infallible blood, by bearing the detention
of Mukhaderaat-e-Ismat and Taharat, and humiliation in the streets of
Kufa and Shaam and in the courts of Ibne Ziad and Yazid.
This great struggle, jihad and Azadari-e-Mazloom would continue as the
universal and peaceful protest of the oppressed till the
Zahoor-e-Mehdi (A.S.). Syed-us-Sajideen Hazrat Imam Sajjad (A.S.)
delivered a heart-rending address in front of the throne of chief of
the tyrant world in which after Hamd-o-Sana (praise) of Allah in
detail stated the Fazail and Munaqib (excellence) of
Khawanwada-e-Risalat and mentioned the bravery of chief of prophets
Hazoor Khatmi Martabat (SAAW), Maula-e-Kainaat Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi
Talib (A.S.) and Hazrat Jafar-e-Tayyar (A.S.), stated the status of
Shahzada Sulh-o-Aman Hazrat Imam Hassan Mujtaba (A.S.), then towards
the end of his address he stated about the reappearance of last Hujjat
(A.S.) of Allah. Afterwards, he started stating the Mazloomiyyat of
Syed-ush-Shuhada Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his faithful
companions. The address of the Beemar-e-Karbala was yet to conclude
when the listeners began crying. When the tyrant Yazid saw this, he
asked the Moazzan (prayer-caller) to recite call for prayers (Azaan)
so as to divert the attention of those who were present in the court
from Farzand-e-Rasool Hazrat Sajjad (A.S.) as it is the habit of the
oppressors. When the Moazzan reached “Ash-hado-anna Muhammad-dar
Rasoolullah”, Syed-us-Sajideen (A.S.) posed a question to Yazid that
shattered the Yazidi court. He asked, O, Yazid! Tell, this Muhammad (SAAW)
is your Jadd (grandfather) or mine and definitely he is my Jadd.
Remember, that witness of Muhammad’s (SAAW) Risalat in the Azaan is a
proof that Hussain (A.S.) is Zindabad (live) and Yazid is Murdabad. As
a poet says:

The address of Zain-ul-Abideen (A.S.) unveiled the fake veil of
Islam from Yazid’s face. Hussain (A.S.) saved humanity and Islam while
Zainab (S.A.) and Zain-ul-Abideen (A.S.) gave a new lease of life to
Hussainiyyat.

On this mournful occasion of universal Chehlum of Syed-ush-Shuhada
Imam Hussain (A.S.) we present our condolences to Khanwada-e-Ahle
Bait-e-Atahaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar, followers of religion and
Shariat and the oppressed world and announce our commitment to
continue condemning oppression and brutality till the flag of justice
and fair-play flutters all over the world.
