Some 10 million pour into Karbala for Arbaeen – biggest gathering

HOLY CITY OF KARBALA, Iraq: Reliable sources estimated that some 10
million Husseini mourners from across the country congregated in the
holy city of Karbala on March 10 Safar 20 to commemorate Arbaeen Al-Husseini.
 
According to different news agencies this was the biggest gathering of
pilgrims since the fall of Saddam, who had banned the event under his
regime.
 
Huge number of mourners sent a message to the terrorists that bombings,
killings or any kind of terrorism could not deter them from making a
visit to Al-Imam Al-Hussein (AS) and other members of Ahl’ol Beit (AS).
