AL-MATIRFI, Saudi Arabia: Saudis observed Arba段n al-Husseini by
holding majalis wa mawakeb al-azaiyah (Husseini mourning gatherings) in
the oil-rich mo知inin-dominated eastern region of the kingdom.
Speakers, in majalis al-azaiyah held at mosques, husseiniyaat and
ma誕tam across the region, highlighted significance and events of
Arba段n al-Husseini which is commemorated on 20 Safar.
