Imam Hussain (a.s.) Chehlum commemorated in Kolkata

KOLKATA, India: In connection with the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam
Hussain (AS), majalis and jaloos were held across the country in which
hundreds of thousands of mourners paid homage to Hazrat Imam Hussain
(AS) and his 72 near and dear ones.

BHAVNAGAR, India: To pay homage to the supreme sacrifices rendered by Imam Hussain (AS) and his 72 near and dear ones some 14 centuries ago, a grand Hussaini procession was taken out in the city of Bhavnagar, India, on the occasion of Chehlum of Sayyedush shohada on Sunday, March 11, 2007.
