LAHORE, Pakistan: Grand majalis-e-aza and matmi processions were held
across Lahore to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hassan
Mujtaba (a.s.) on Safar 28.

Pakistanis observed the occasion as ‘Week of Mourning’ on the call of
Quaid-i-Millat-i-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Moosavi.



On Safar 28, main procession was taken out from Mochi gate. Touching
through its routes i.e. Mochi gate, Akbari Mandi, Chowk masjid Wazir
Khan, Mohala Chehal Bibiaan it returned to Mochi gate and ended there.
Lahore’s famous dirge-chanting groups offered condolence to Makhdooma
e Kainaat Syeda Zahra (SA) on the martyrdom of her son Hassan (AS).


Thousands performed matam of Zanjeer.







On 27 Safar, Taboot Juloos Hazrat Imam Hassan Al Mujtaba (AS) was
organized at MISRI SHAH LAHORE. Arrangements were made by
Saadaat-e-Masaniyaan (Masaniyaan a village name of India).
Matami sangats from Gujranwala and Lahore did matamdari in the juloos.
